We don't proselytize in Kundalini Yoga but figured this is how this post would be received so I've decided to pluck it here in the cavern as to not offend and incur the wrath of groupthinkians...so be sure to bring a flashlight and a pair of rubbers...it is wet and dark down here...

Yoga - means yoke or union between body, mind and soul(Bad word, I know, I know...mea culpa)..

Energy is the cause form is the effect. Before we are form, we are energy. Which means we are energy, spirit, soul, consciousness(call it what you like) having a physical experience.

There is a term called 'naad' which is audible and inaudible sound, inaudible would be the sound or vibration of sun energy being converted into matter as the stem of a tree grows to produce a leaf. You don't hear it but there is a vibration there none the less. THis also means that the most powerful forces of nature occur all around us and we don't hear a thing.

Everything is in a state of vibration, even solid matter, it is just vibrating at a very low frequency. Nothing exists without sound:

universe -
uni - one
verse- beat, rhythm

The word in of itself implies sound or vibration.

Words are sounds and examples of audible vibrations. Add 's' to word and you have 'sword' because words are cutting, they have impact, they penetrate.

Mantra/ Man-tra
man - mind
tra - wave

Mantra is a technology of sound using word to alter brainwave patterns.

Human/ Hu-man
hu- light, ray
man-mind
Human is a radiant mind

Hu- in sanskrit means god or light of the divine
Man - in sanskrit means mana or mind

So human is godmind. Religion preaches separateness but there is no separation. It is an illusion called the play of maya. This has been proven by science when they discovered the holographic universe. Google Michael Talbot.

Mind is over matter. Energy is the cause form is the effect. Thoughts are vibrations and what you project you create or manifest.

I'm not religious and kundalini yoga is not a religion but there are truths within religious doctrine:

Bible excerpt - 'in the beginning was the word and the word was with....God'

'Man was created in God's image'

God, Gott(german) where we get 'gut'...go with your gut feel or trust you gut instinct because god is not out there, it is you.

You have the power of the word because you are...God

You always hear some yoga classes do 'OM' which sounds like 'AUM' or 'AHM'

The root of 'AMEN' is OM or AUM...AAUUUUUUMMMEN

These are entry codes.

They vibrate the skull and brain matter.


You have the power to manifest the universe by your thoughts and through your words(so choose them carefully) the problem is that as a collective consciousness we, for the most part, tend to vibrate dysfunctionally from the lower energy centers of projection, the root, sex and navel chakra. Driven by subsistence, sex, power and status. Which in turn are constantly reinforced by the mass media which fosters fear and desire. Fear of inadequacy if we don't have the latest ipad/ipod/tablet/PS3 gadgets, or are not sexy and beautiful enough.

So on and on and on and on we go working to satiate the ego which dwells in these low frequencies of projection. But once we get that new device or pedicure, not long after, the desire returns to upgrade and the cycle repeats itself. The opposite of ego is intuition and yoga helps develop the intuitive mind.

Mantra and meditation are excellent tools to realize your intent and clean the subconscious and kundalini yoga is an excellent practice as it works to harmonize the brain to enhance projection by channeling pranic energy in combination with moving and linking muscles with muscles, nerves with nerves, meridians with meridians, stimulating glandular secretions and providing optimum health both mentally and physically.

Prana(chi in China, ki in Japan) is the first unit of energy and the air we breath.

Guru- going from darkness and ignorance to light and knowledge.

Practicing kundalini yoga allows one to discover the divinity within, the divinity which has been denied to us by religious doctrine.

The motto of our era is no longer 'in god we trust' it is 'in god we dwell'
