Default The Science of Religion and Mythology

What exactly is Christianity and its religious texts and doctrine trying to convey?

My aim is to debunk the foundation of religious institutions as well as expose some scientific bias. Expose religion's misguided concept of god and worship with plausible facts and alternative theories that I’ve recently discovered. I’m open to the idea that there is a spirituality within each of us but not necessarily a divinity.

One curious discovery is that science and religion are not as polarized as one may think. In fact, science is just as bad as religion as the scientific community tends to deny alternative sciences or concepts or histories that don't adhere to the status quo and I've discovered that there is an institutionalized effort of control from both entities. For example, the global warming debate which is promoting reduction and efficiency of consumption but failing to bring forth or permit alternative energy systems. Hence they maintain our dependency on fossil fuels but simply indoctrinate us to reduce our usage of them.

Ever heard of the Iron Pillar in Delhi? Claimed to have been erected over 1600 years ago, it is made from wrought iron and has stood the test of time and the tropical elements of the Indian climate and has never 'rusted'. We can't even get our cars to last 5 years without rusting. Does the technology exist to prevent rust?...Without question but the automakers don't want 'you' to know that, they need you to buy a new one every 5 years so they can make a profit.

Profit is what is placing an evolutionary cap on technologies that would improve our lifestyle and environment. Buyer beware, for you atheists that invest your faith wholeheartedly in science.

Even our academic institutions are biased. When I took grade 9 geography class, the teacher discussed two geographical concepts, one being catastrophism the other being uniformitarianism. The catastrophists were dismissed as fanatics and uniformitarianism was the concept of choice throughout the curriculum right up to the university level. Uniformitarianism speaks to geographic formations that take millions of years to form, such as continental drift theory where the continents move apart centimeters every year, taking eons of time to form the formations we see currently. But some of the catastrophist theories have surfaced as of late with concepts such as earth crust displacement and pole shifts. They can't be denied as we've seen mass extinctions in North America and the advance and recession of the ice age. What triggers these 'recent' events, are they sudden or do they take millions of years to develop?

    Wholly Mammoths:
These animals were designed to withstand cold temperatures yet all seem to have perished in an event of catastrophic proportions:

"The excavation also offers good opportunities to paleontologists trying to understand what Siberia looked like 20,000 years ago. Mol said they have found bits of well-preserved plants that suggest the mammoth died on or near a pond. "It still had its original green color," Mol said. "This is, for paleontology, a big discovery." "
    http://www.trussel.com/prehist/news157.htm

The Siberian climate has never recovered from whatever triggered this relatively 'recent' event.

My mandate is to read and extract what I determine to be the truth for me.

First off, there are tens of thousands of beliefs but only one reality or truth.

I’ve come across various sources of alternative history and technology over the last few years. I’ve always considered myself an atheist and an advocate of science but have realized based on these readings that there is much science buried within religious text and scripture that we could readily dismiss as silly folklore yet carries plausible significance.

The first book that inspired my thirst to discover more was Graham Hancock’s ‘Fingerprints of the Gods’. Hancock examines various world religions and mythologies and discovered astonishing commonalities between them all including precessional codes which he also found within the passage rights of street gangs such as The Triads.

    What is precession?

When the Earth rotates, it spins on an angle but it isn’t a perfect spin, it actually wobbles and that wobble is called precession. It takes approximately 25920 years for one complete cycle to finish. This wobble changes the Earth's inclination and view of the alignment of the stars so the chunk of years was broken into 12 segments or constellations, hence the 12 signs of the zodiac which is the true calendar.

Time is not linear it is cyclic. As the Earth wobbles it passes through the various constellations and it takes 2160(remember this number) years for the Earth to pass through one zodiac sign.

During the spring equinox, the sun rises under the sign of our current zodiac which is ‘pisces’ the symbol of none other than the fish. It has been doing so for approximately 2100 years and we are in the transition period where the sign will change to that of ‘aquarius’…

How old is Jesus approx? Aren’t we in the 21st century??? 21 * 100=2100. That is cutting it awful close to 2160.

The zodiac calendar whose significance and importance has been reduced to trivial horoscopes, is the true calendar and our very city lights have advanced its obscurity.

The vast majority of world religions and mythologies have tales of deluge and stories of flooding and Noah’s Ark(checkout Fingerprints of the Gods(yes gods-plural)) and there are far too many commonalities between them to be arbitrary, in fact Z. Sitchin has discovered ceremonial Hebrew words in mesoamerican civilizations and believes they are the lost tribes of Israel.

All that aside, it takes the Earth approx 2160 years to pass through one zodiac sign and we are currently coming to the end of the period of the age of pisces and moving to the age of aquarius.

How old is Christianity? How old is our Gregorian Calendar? How old is Jesus approx? Aren’t we in the 21st century??? 21 * 100=2100. That is cutting it awful close to 2160 years it takes for the Earth to pass through one zodiacal sign. hmmmmmm.....

Remember, our true calendar is the Zodiac calendar and time is cyclic and science is imbedded within religion…

Pope Gregory(Gregorian Calendar) ignored what Daniel left us in Chapter 7, Verse 25:

“A time and times and the dividing of time.”
“When a certain astronomer, who was present, asked the Lord Jesus, whether He had studied astronomy, the Lord replied and told him the number of spheres and heavenly bodies, as also their triangular, square and sextile aspect; their progressive and retrograde motion; their size and several prognostications; and other things which the reason of man had never discovered.”(1 Infancy 21:9,10.)

“Therefore my people have gone into captivity because they have no knowledge” (Isaiah 5;13)

The bible calls it ‘end of days’ and Mayans pulled out people’s hearts to prevent it but sure as morning toast, the transition from one age to the next is happening. The Mayan calendar also ends in 2012.

Associated with this change in age has been calamitous events ie: deluge, ice ages, hence the importance of the calendar to prepare for this uncertain eventuality. Will something devastating happen? Not sure but the one expert I’ve read believes it happens every two cycles of the zodiac this being the end of the second.

Constantine, like today’s ruling elite feared the masses and transferred the pagan values and symbols into christian ones(Dan Brown-Da Vinci Code). The pagans basically worshiped women as divine for their ability to give life and none other than the sun, hence the word SUNday.

The sun currently rises under the sign of pisces during the spring equinox. Pisces is the symbol of the fish who is none other than, you guessed it, Jesus.

Art has always mirrored the sign of the zodiac that the sun rises under, hence, we had the minotaur during the age of taurus.

    from dictionary.com
    Ichthus

Ich”thus\, n. [Gr. ?.] In early Christian and eccesiastical art, an emblematic fish, or the Greek word for fish, which combined the initials of the Greek words ?, ?, ? ?, ?,

Jesus, Christ, Son of God, Savior.

Early Christian art depicting the fish…I repeat…early ‘Christian’ art depicting the symbol of the fish for who??? Jesus Christ, Son of God, Savior…

What is the zodiac symbol for pisces again? The Fish….hmmmmmm. Out of all the symbol rich things our planet has to offer, why on Earth would they have chosen to associate Jesus with a fish?

The fish represents Jesus and who is Jesus? The son of god? Jesus’s birthday is aligned with the fall and rise of the sun in the Northern horizon as the Earth revolves around it. ie: the winter solstice, the end of the dark cycle(long nights) and the happy happy joy joy of the new year celebration, the return of the sun as it begins its ascent in the horizon again, hence longer days, light triumphs over dark.(A very borealcentric view methinks: Jesus is how old? How long does it take the Earth to pass through one zodiac sign? 2160 years(remember this number). The sun has been rising under the sign of pisces for how long? hmmmmmm…

Some of these religious folk preach the return, well, he returns every year!

Carl Sagan wrote in Contact, math is the universal language and an advanced civilization would use it as their form of communication.

Maya means water in Egyptian - ‘maya’ means water in Egyptian and ‘mai’ in Arabic.

The Great Pyramid at Giza and the Kukulkan Pyramid in Mexico are undeniably linked through math written into the design of the building.

Kukulkan has 9 levels, 4 sides, 4 staircases and 365 steps:
    9*4*4*365=52560
Contrary to popular belief and modern man’s bloated ego, the prime meridian is not in Greenwich it is the Great Pyramid at Giza. (try to debunk it, I invite you to)

Kukulkan sits 119 degrees, 42 minutes and 10.5ish seconds West of Giza:
    52560/119 degrees=441.68067
    441.68067/ 42 minutes =10.516207
    The time in seconds.

    180 degrees/ PI = The radian(57.29577951)

The grid longitude point of the Kulkulkan pyramid is exactly 52562.89164(a few inches from 52560). When you divide this number by the radian you get:
917.3955235 which is Kukulkan's grid latitude...20degrees, 41 minutes, 1.11877509 seconds North of the equator.

    917.3955235/ 20 degrees = 45.86977617
45.86977617/ 41 minutes = 1.118775029 which is where it sits in seconds for latitude.

Not convinced? Kukulkan has 365 steps offset at 90 degree angles: 365/90=4.055

According to the Aeronautical Charting Division in Silver Spring MD the Giza and Kukulkan pyramids are 7123.85068 statute miles(yes miles, none of that metric poison) apart. The TAN of 7123.85068=4.055…not bad for a bunch of primitives!

Stonehenge originally had 60 stones arranged in a circle (360degrees). 60*360=21600. Well, Stonehenge rests 51 degrees, 10 minutes, 42.3529411 seconds north of giza.
    21600/ 51 degrees=423.52941
    423.52941/ 10 minutes=42.352941
Which is the amount in seconds where it sits north of Giza.

    Time and the Zodiac:

    Stonehenge is a circle(360degrees) with 60 stones. 360*60=21600

In Ohio, there is another circle called The Observatory Circle in Newark Ohio. The structure has 6 features and a circle...so 6*360 equals 2160.
Well, this circle is located 40 degrees, 02 minutes and 27.0000seconds North of Giza.
    2160/40degrees=54
54/02minutes=27...seconds...where it sits North of Giza.

Remember, the zodiac calendar is our true calendar and time is cyclic(circle). So we have Stonehenge equating to 21600(2160*10) and the Observatory circle equating to 2160. It also takes the Earth 2160 years to pass through one zodiac sign. What are these structures(circles) trying to tell us? Could they be referring to time or a time on the zodiac calendar?

Recall...Pope Gregory(Gregorian Calendar) ignored what Daniel left us in Chapter 7, Verse 25:

“A time and times and the dividing of time.”
Let's go to those interesting drawings in Nazca Peru and have a look at Manos.
    http://www.panoramio.com/photo/15722882
    http://wikimapia.org/728960/es/Nazca-Buho-Manos

Manos has 2 ears, 2 hands, one with 4 fingers, one with 5 fingers, 9 fingers all together and a 90degree indent where his neck meets his shoulder.

    90degrees*9*5*4*2*2=64800

Manos rests 106 degrees, 14 minutes, 43.66 seconds West of Giza.
    64800/ 106degrees=611.3207547
    611.3207547/ 14 minutes=43.66576819...its location in seconds

Five structures in five different parts of the world linked via math, yet apparently evolved independently of each other.

The very ancients who designed the zodiac calendar also built those structures.

    Here's another...

    Tangents:

The Earth is 35 000 000 miles from Mars - The Tangent of that distance = 5.67128182
The Earth is 26 000 000 miles from Venus - The Tangent of that distance = 5.67128182

There is a mound in Mississippi called 'The Emerald Mound' and is located 260 feet above sea level. Care to guess what the Tangent of 260 is? TAN of 260 = 5.67128182
    http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Emerald_Mound_Site
    http://www.google.ca/search?hl=en&q=the ... ound&meta=

    This mound has 5 corners...360degrees / 5 = 72
    72 degrees per corner angle
    5 corners aloft
    5 corners on the ground
    6 surfaces

    72*5*5*6=10800
This mound is 31 degrees, 38 minutes and 09.168081494 seconds North of Giza
    10800/ 31 degrees= 348.3870968
    348.3870968/ 38 minutes = 09.168081494 seconds North of Giza

    Mars:
A desolate place rich in carbon dioxide, no to very little water, a dead planet.

"Dean Swift's 'Gulliver's Travels' told us more about Mars than could be substantiated at the time he wrote it in 1726. It took another 150 years to build a telescope capable of seeing the two moons of Mars that Swift mentioned" - Munck

    Venus:
Isn't it astounding that Venus is a 800degree burning hell(if hell in fact exists) of sulphur yet Venus is also known as the Roman Goddess of Love. Such a contradiction methinks!

According to Wikipedia, the atmosphere on Venus is so dense it would be the equivalent of being 1 kilometer below the Earth's ocean. Isn't that something!
    http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Venus#Early_efforts

SOOOO! How in the universe were they able to land a parachute on the Venusian surface:

"The Venusian atmosphere was considerably denser than Venera 4's designers had anticipated, and its slower than intended parachute descent meant that its batteries ran down before the probe reached the surface. After returning descent data for 93 minutes, Venera 4's last pressure reading was 18 bar at an altitude of 24.96 km.[60]
    "
    http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Venus#Early_efforts

It is truly amazing how fascinated we are with these lifeless planetary bodies. Tributes from ancient monuments, books, gods(Mars God of War) and goddesses(Venus Goddess of Love)...much ado about nothing I guess!

Math is the universal language and there is clearly a relationship between religion, mythology and math. Is that relationship arbitrary or by design? I invite you to discover

We invented instruments to measure longitude in the 1800’s to avoid shipwrecks. The precision used to design these structures clearly shows it was around long before our modern society.

If the atheist bus campaign is going to run these ads, start including items or symbols that give people something tangible so they can see the reality of the world around them. Not some vague statement that fosters hostility. I know all too well that people create their own realities and any message that goes against the grain of their indoctrination will result in fear and anger but please make the effort to debunk what religion(and possibly science) stands upon with plausible facts rather than vague statements such as ‘god doesn’t exist just be happy’.

    Blondin,

    See Plato "On the Good"

It is said that Plato once disclosed this knowledge to the public in his lecture On the Good (???? ???????), in which the Good (?? ??????) is identified with the One (the Unity, ?? ??), the fundamental ontological principle. The content of this lecture has been transmitted by several witnesses, among others Aristoxenus who describes the event in the following words: "Each came expecting to learn something about the things which are generally considered good for men, such as wealth, good health, physical strength, and altogether a kind of wonderful happiness. But when the mathematical demonstrations came, including numbers, geometrical figures and astronomy, and finally the statement Good is One seemed to them, I imagine, utterly unexpected and strange; hence some belittled the matter, while others rejected it."

Many have not progressed intellectually much further than those in Plato's audience.

The Science is to know that "Good is One" and you are also that good.

It is the cornerstone. And it is rejected.

I did some more research on the stars and the Bible and found these verses. Job 9: 1-2a, 7-9. On a side note Job(long o sound) is believed to be the oldest book in the Bible.

1Then Job answered and said, 2 I know it is of truth:... 7 Which commandeth the sun, and it riseth not; and sealeth up the stars. 8Which alone spreadeth out the heavens, and treadeth upon the waves of the sea. 9Which maketh Arcturus, Orion, and Pleiades, and the chambers of the south

Explanations: (7) Scientist used to believe that everything in the universe revolved around the earth. They constantly used this verse to try to disprove the Bible. Imagine how they felt when they learned the truth. This is a good example of how true science never contradicts the Bible.
    (8) Scientist try to use the spreading out of the galaxies to explain the big bang theory when it is explained right here before the fact was known by them and while it was still mocked by them.
    (9) The names are of the fourth brightest star(Arcturus), a constellation with 200 stars visible to the naked eye that is located near the celestial equator(Orion), and a cluster of more than 300 stars in the constellation Taurus, visible to the naked eye(Pleiades).

There are other examples of were science or history was wrong but thought they right. They used their evidence to try to disprove the Bible. Later someone(Christian or not) went looking for more evidence or just some evidence and found that the Bible had been right.

Mr Soldier, nice story but a bit out of context I think,
JOB 9 actually seems to refer to what I would stage magic, is refers to earthquakes, eclipeses and seems to actually claim to be responsible for nightfall. I see nothing there except some claiming his god is responsible
for these recurring natural awe inspiring events. I can't see how you get the big bang out of that. Job just seems to babble on for chapter after chapter trying to scare people.

It is a miracle to me that I wake up each morning.

It is a miracle to me that the Sun gives life to all the plants that lay dormant each winter.

It is a miracle to me that I am here.

I am a very simple man. I try to give praise and thanks with each breath I take.

Life is a mystery, Life is precious, Life is Fragile, Each day a miracle.

I do not need the Bible to teach me miracles.

I do not need any proof to believe that "God" is alive in every single thing, every single moment, every single instant.

This is not faith. It is just how I experience my World. I wish you were here.
