If humankind survives 10,000 years and makes a timeline. The moon landing will get a mark on that timeline. The mars landing will get a mark. No mark for moon base.
No mark for the Rapture either, just an increase in standardized test scores.

I liked all the discoveries by the phoenix. In my opinion, it never got enough coverage. The pictures were awesome and I'd love to see more, especially with the amazing landmarks that mars has.
There's also the methane gas mystery that arose recently. It would be really cool to see some light shed on that.
As well, they can do excavations and more sample analysis. I want to see what they dig up.
