Apparently, "history" now means "whatever sensationalistic crap we feel like pulling out of our asses." Luckily, they still occasionally show a good movie or two, so the channel's not completely useless.

Sad but true. I forget who it was that said TV was all about selling soap but it was never as true as it is today. Even the news is not about the news anymore. All that matters is ratings because that's what determines market share and advertising "value".

Network was prophetic.
