I'm a Christian on this forum--have been away for a while, until Chris reminded me to come back. I think the admin does an excellent job of keeping this forum from becoming a place to argue over religion. Are you suggesting that only atheists belong here? Believers in God and Atheists have more in common that you might think. We're all people first. Just find the threads that interest you and skip over the others. -- that's my opinion and I'm sticking to it ... lol

    I agree.

I too am new here and have been lurking about reading bits and pieces here and there. There is little activity.

I was hoping to engage a small group in a great conversation, but so far, I'm coming up with nada. Is this a new site? and just not enough members yet?

    Welcome, Doc.

Maybe calling this forum "atheistdiscussion.com" wasn't such a good idea.

People shouldn't feel timid about discussing what ever interests them - there are threads for science, politics, entertainment, etc. Maybe some people don't want to read pro-religion comments. Like Ken says, they can just skip those threads or comments. The only behaviour that gets people banned, or exiled to the shire, is spamming or repetitive, dogmatic proselytizing. Honest discussion is always welcome.

Feel free to start something, Doc.
