Hello

I'm a 28 year old woman. i'm married and have two young children who I've been at home with for the past 6 years. I grew up in a Pentecostal christian home. I think I've always been a closet skeptic but just recently came to realize what atheists were and that I am one.

Pretty much everyone in my life is a christian to some varying degree and many of them (especially family) are still very devout. I really feel like I can't even talk anymore because every time I open my mouth and I'm honest I offend someone. I do try to avoid touchy subjects but it's hard. Until you are away from it you really don't see how much religion just branches out and touches everything. I can't have a discussion with my mom with out her bringing up god about a dozen times.

Anyhow, it would be great to talk to some of you and find out if there are groups or people in my area.
