I've mostly followed a Paleolithic diet for about 2 years now. Basically, this is a hunter-gatherer type diet. Fat, meat, veggies, nuts, seeds and berries...I do this because I don't think human beings have evolved long enough to tolerate many modern foods. My mother is a diabetic and everyone in my family is a sugar junkie. I lost 82 lbs. in 2 years eating a diet almost 70% fat. My blood pressure also dropped almost 40 points. I'm due for a full blood work-up and it will be interesting to compare the before and after....
