I thought "Multi-quote" was for this, but it turns out it's for something else. I often want to quote in context so the thread of a conversation is not lost, but now I have to do it manually, and it's very painful, and I usually give up. Can anyone help?

I see your problem, I'll try and find a work around but no promises. Indeed that can be frustrating.
