From wikipedia:
On a previous post the question was raised on the right of privacy for groups that could be argued to be conspiring to commit illegal acts. The Bilderberg Group, Bilderberg conference, or Bilderberg Club is an annual, unofficial, invitation-only conference of around 130 guests, most of whom are persons of influence in the fields of politics, banking, business, the military and media. Each conference is closed to the public and the press.
So the spotlight turns on this group.
Should they be arrested for plotting a crime? Or should their free speech rights be upheld?
This group effectively plans the economy on a global scale discussing everything from policy to piracy. What little we know of the details of conference meetings is suspect due to their incredibly high security. These meetings have more security than the White House. They go so far as to install jamming devices in the areas surrounding the compounds they set up at to prevent radio communication inside the compound during the meetings.
We don't know that what they are doing is a crime. We do know that they are doing it with very influencial people.
This isn't a walk in the park. This isn't a cult and it's not the New World Order, Illuminati or the Free Masons.
This is the Bildeburg Conference. These are individuals who influence every country involved. These are meetings that are not sanctioned by the people or paid for by the people.
Personally, I feel that if a government official has to go off the record to influence politics or anything this group stands for, that official should be hanged politically and removed from office. If I can't trust my government to be honest, I don't want them in my jurisdiction much less representing my interests.
