• Christopher Hitchens diagnosed with Esophageal Cancer

    Attachment 348Christopher Hitchens has been diagnosed with esophageal cancer and is now undergoing chemotherapy.

    In a statement he released, he reveals:
    I have been advised by my physician that I must undergo a course of chemotherapy on my esophagus. This advice seems persuasive to me. I regret having had to cancel so many engagements at such short notice.

    The 5 year survival rate of esophageal cancer is 15% to 24%.

      The Holy Spirit told me this happened to Christopher since he is so knowledgeable yet speaks falsely, so his speaking apparatus has received judgment from God.

      The Holy Spirit protects Christians from such things even altering genetic predispositions.

      Notice how when we have ailments and conditions, that those who were not listening to God give Him another listen to.

      Yeah, that judgment sure is showing him who is the omnipotent, omniscient, beneficent, loving psychopath-in-charge. Funny how he can reach out and deliver divine vengeance on people like Hitchens but doesn't seem to notice when thousands of devout believers and children are threatened or wiped out by hurricanes or earthquakes.

      So you're saying that holy-rolling, bible-thumping, spooky believers like yourself have a genetic immunity to cancer? You can cite some statistics to support this claim? I imagine this will come as quite a shock to oncologists.

      What are you referring to here? Is this the old "no atheists in foxholes" bullshit being trotted out again? Christopher Hitchens has certainly not shown any signs of changing his stance on atheism.
