Has anyone read it? I noticed my brother (whom also happens to be a Christian) was reading it.

Obviously the simple answer to the 'what if you're wrong argument', which I think is what this book is about, is that I'm not irrational enough to pick one of a million religions and dedicate my life to it. And what reasonable person could be expected to give up rationality and just pick one out of a million religions when the result of picking one could mean 'heaven' or 'hell' if you're wrong. Prove to me you have the 'true' religion and I'll believe you, but proof is never given in a demonstrable and reasonable way.

Picking the "right" one is more or less like a lottery draw because there are so many to choose from. Obviously there is no right one though, they're all wrong. :P

I haven't read it, but I listened to the exhaustive chapter-by-chapter analysis that they did on the podcast "A Christian and an Atheist" (findable on iTunes). None of the hosts were impressed by the book; the Christians and the atheists all recognized that the arguments in the book all generally relied on mischaracterizations, fallacies, or other logical errors.

BTW - Limbaugh only wrote the forward. The book itself is by Norman Geisler and Frank Turek.

I've never heard of it. But when it comes to backing the correct horse,
If the jeebus followers are correct, then I am wrong and since he is such a forgiving
guy he will forgive us as well. If that isnt right and he is a wicked fellow he may just
out of spite send the next few christians to hell and play with me cause
I am wicked as well. And if there is a god of one of the more primative and violent
religions, we are all screwed anyway.
So in my case anyway, backing no horse makes the most sense.
" Is God willing to prevent evil, but not able? Then he is not omnipotent. Is he able, but not willing? Then he is malevolent. Is he both able and willing? Then whence cometh evil? Is he neither able nor willing? Then why call him God? "
