WHICH atheist are you asking? Each one may give a completely different answer depending on what you mean by "believe" here. I only 'believe' in principles like "liberty" and "honesty". I have no existential beliefs.

    S2:
What is the real objective for the human life?
This sounds like gibberish. What the hell does "real objective for human life" even mean here?!

    S3:
How can the atheist believe in the future?
Again, what do you mean by "believe in"? I myself do NOT believe in the future as I cannot even understand how one could "believe" in such a thing. It is like believing in my own existence. I accept that time is linear and this is a necessary component of existence itself and so events will happen throughout existence in a non-static universe.

What is the evidence for the future existence of self and of the universe?
What the Hell does that even mean?! Are you asking what evidence I have that I personally will be around in some unspecified future?! There is plenty of "evidence" that I may be around, depending on which specific moment in the future you are referring to. If by "evidecne" you really meant "proof" then no, I have none. But what does this have to do with God or belief in such? You might as well be saying Atheism is wrong because I cannot prove that Steve Ditko is a great artist(objectively).

I think Saeed is banned now, SkeleTony. He was asked pretty much the same questions that you asked but just kept reposting the same insipid assertions/statements without ever addressing anybody's questions or rebuttals. Pretty much the same goes for Parture. Come to think of it, that pretty much describes the M.O. of must fundegelicals, doesn't it?

Yeah I read through the rest of the thread after I posted that. I probably still would have posted it anyway though, just because somebody might have drifted in here, read the OP and thought "Those are sensible questions...I wonder how the atheists will answer?" and then skimmed through the first page, clicked on the 'last page' button and read whatever that last post on that page may have been and possibly draw the wrong conclusion about us. I don't remember what teh post prior to mine was though and it may well have been a thousand times more informative than my reply was.

    A1: Nothing (atleast as atheists)
    A2: I don't know
    A3 (question 1): I can believe whatever I want.
A3 (question 2): There is no garauntee I will be around for any set time in the future, so live the one life you have to its fullest.

There are many things that would be evidence for the creator... but the best I ever heard was actually from an Atheist, Carl Sagan. In his book, Contact,

    ** SPOILER ALERT **

the main character finds a numerical message in the digits of PI. That to me would be powerful proof that there is an intelligent creator of the universe, of coarse even that would still only give us a glimpse of what such an intelligence is or is capable of.
