Hey everyone,

Lately I haven't reinforced the thread hijacking and staying on-topic forum rules and because of this, there are now a quite a few threads with 5-10+ pages of discussion that are not related to the original post. This makes it very hard for new and old users to find discussions they are interested in - many of you could be talking about very interesting topics that are buried beneath an unrelated thread title.

After this post I will start to be more strict with reinforcing thread hijacking rules. If you aren't sure if your post is going too far off-topic, I will give you some advice. Thread hijacking is basically when the current discussion has become a radical departure from the original topic. Ask yourself if your post contributes to the original topic or if it is completely irrelevant. If it is irrelevant and unrelated, chances are that you are probably hijacking the thread and going off-topic. The solution to this is to start another thread with a more appropriate title.

I realize that conversations in real life may traverse from various topics but because many people will be viewing this forum at different times, it is best we keep it well formed and orderly for ease of access.

Thanks.
