Happy Canada Day everyone! What's everybody doing to celebrate? I myself went with my family down to Prince's Island Park to see the festivities there and I'll be watching the season opener Calgary vs Montreal CFL game later tonight.

    HAPPY CANADA DAY!

I worked today...although I only had half my clients so it SEEMED like a holiday.

Now I'm just waiting for my BF to get off work. He's a Chef, so if it's busy he won't make it and I'll have to go see the fireworks alone. WAHHHHH! (*stomping foot)

Oh yes...I organised my shoe cupboard today. I heart shoes.

    Happy Canada Day!
I think there were supposed to be fireworks here tonight, but the weather's rotten and I've been inside all day.

I worked, (sort of, a midnite shift) and got to watch the sun set behind the mountains in the west
and then ring the horizon in a sunrise golden glow for several hours, til
it rose up over the mountains in the east. I never get bored of that. Then I slept and the kids went to the beach. Since its not dark they save the fireworks til newyear. Hey Stephanie, you ever take the harbour boat and view the fireworks in Victoria?

I had a blowout on Canada Day!

Literally: we visited my brother- and sister-in-law, and then had a tire blow out just as we were heading off to go back. I ended up driving all the way back from North Bay to Toronto on a donut spare.

This was my first time in North Bay for years, but since they're in the process of building a cottage there, I might be up a bit more often... depends how often they invite us.

Well you're always welcome to drop by for a beer if you're in the neighbourhood. Just PM me if you feel so inclined.
